Rumour Hit Parade v23 - Andrews Out, Brownhill & Holeš In? Mfuni Back ON?

The transfer window closes on Tuesday and so any of these rumours are now either in the pipeline or complete rubbish. There maybe some surprises between now and then, we await news!

First of all we start with the news that Kai Andrews has gone out on loan to Oxford before we even had a chance to gossip about it. They are currently under a transfer embargo so are dealing in loan players and they should find a good one in Andrews. They aren't now allowed to contribute anything towards his wages so it is purely sending Andrews out for experience, as they did last season when he went to Hibs.

Stephen Mfuni was supposed to be joining on loan from Man City. Then he wasn't. Now he is. This seems to have a lot of legs and LAST is putting Mfuni into the empty top spot, up 28 places, now Pinnock has signed and moved to the It's Happened table.

Onto new rumours and the first is Josh Brownhill, probably best known for over 100 PL appearances for Burnley. He currently plies his trade for Al Shabab where has been for 2 seasons. I just can't see us signing another central midfielder so I'm not giving this much credence. In at 24.

Tomáš Holeš (stop sniggering at the back) is an interesting one. He is 33, has played 241 games at centre back for Slavia Prague and is currently their captain. Holes (stop sniggering at the back) has also played 43 times for Czechia so has plenty of experience. None of that is PL experience though and I can't see this being a goer either. In at 28.

There are also rumours of 2 left backs that were briefly mentioned, Tom Rothe and Josh Tymon.

Rothe plays for Union Berlin where he has played 52 matchs, scoring 6 goals. He has also featured 5 times for Germany U21's scoring 1 goal. At 21 he would definitely fit into Citys purchasing profile. Tymon is an experienced left back at Championship level with over 250 appearances between Stoke and his current club Swansea. On the basis he has a left foot, Him and Rothe go in at 6 and 7 respectively.
