City Team News

I don't think SFL will make huge changes from the Arsenal game. The one change I think he will make is Awoniyi will come in for Simms. Awoniyi has more experience and got off the mark in midweek against Plymouth with a goal and assist.

According to SFL's press conference Pinnock is ready to go but I don't think he will start. In midfield Torp has looked sharp in both games so far, Rudy must be knocking on the door, as is EMC. All 3 will come off the bench at some stage, if they don't start as will Hamer. Maybe one of Torp, Rudy or Hamer will start in midfield instead of Onyeka to give us a more attacking start but I think City will want to be solid from the start.

Hull Team News

Hull have a few injuries - Matazo, Gyabi, Hughes, Butland, Zambrano (thigh), Gelhardtand Jacob (hip) will all missout.

Coyle has a suspect ankle and faces a late fitness test.

Player Links

One player has played for both teams - Carl Rushworth. He played 3 games for Hull in a short loan spell between Aug 24 and Jan 25. Most recently Kasey Palmer moved from City to Hull but has moved on again to Luton.

Going back further Richard Shaw had a loan spell at Hull in 1989 whilst City bought the man who invented the step over, Leigh Jenkinson from Hull in 1993.

LAST Prediction

Make no mistake, this a huge game for both clubs. Hull managed to get off the mark with a big win against Manure last week courtesy of 2 set pieces so thats something City will have to be on the lookout for. The first goal is going to be massive here, the games last season finished 0-0 despite both teams being free scoring. It could an edgy affair with everyone knowing its a 6 pointer and it'll be down to whoever takes their chance (s). Of course, win or lose for either team here won't mean relegation but those 3 points over your rivals could be vital come May.
