Aurèle Amenda Signs!

Aurèle Amenda has been on LAST's Rumour Parade for a while now and he has indeed finally signed on the dotted line.

Amenda has been at the World Cup with Switzerland where he remained on the bench. Last season he had 18 starts and 6 sub appearances in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt. At 22 he fits the age profile City look at and as a 6ft 4 centre back he plays in a position City were looking to strengthen.

He looks like a cracking signing - big, strong and reads the game well. Of course the Premier League is a step up and time will tell. The rumour is he has cost £17 million which brings City's spending so far to £37 million, combined with Loum Tchaona.
