Rumour Hit Parade v22 - Pinnock in, Mfuni off, Brau Out

To be honest I thought we were pretty much done in the transfer market but we're still going.

Ethan Pinnock is a done deal apparently whereas Stephen Mfuni (who last mentioned 9 days ago on here) was a done deal and now its not plus Miguel Brau is heading out on loan and more Simms suitors. Lets have a deeper look.

Starting with Ethan Pinnock from Brentford who is apparently joining for £5 million plus a million add on. How times have changed, £5 million for a 33 year old! The consensus from Brentford fans seems to be that his legs aren't as full of running as they were but is a classy and reliable centre half. He's played over 100 PL games so is one of the experienced heads we talked about but has gradually played less for Brentford and only 8 times last season. 3 year plus an option of 1 more for a 33 year old seems long, that would take him to 37 years old. Still, City need experience from their centre halves, the only one we have with Premiership experience is Woolfendon and he's injured and possibly leaving. Straight in at number 1 as its apparently a done deal. Here's some highlights:

Stephen Mfuni was supposed to be joining on loan from Man City. A deal was agreed between the clubs but for reasons unknown its now off. This a shame as though Mfuni is still a teenager he is a very bright prospect, maybe he was't going to get as much game time as he wanted. He drops 20 places.

One deal that is done before we even got a chance to put it on the rumour list is Miguel Brau heading out on loan to Portuguese side Académico de Viseu for the season. Whether he comes back is another matter, we shall see.

Niko Sugur has recently been mentioned in dispatches and Celtic have apparently already had a bid rejected by Hadjuk Split. He's the right age at 22 but despite playing 22 games for Canada he is a defensive midfielder and we have a basketful of them so he only goes in at

All has gone quiet on the Mykhaylo Mudryk to City front. He was interesting Leeds but that has fallen through apparently and now Brentford are interested. He drops to 9.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek  stays at 2 after City's reported £8 million pound bid was rejected.

Ellis Simms to Wolves or Stoke has been on the Hit Parade for a while. You can now add Wrexham and Burnley to that list. Simms leaving is a rumour that won't go away so he climbs up to 10.

Troy Parrott  to City goes to the not happening table as he has signed for Real Betis.

This still leaves us needing cover at left back and with KKH injured probably cover at right back.
