Rumour Hit Parade - HWWW Injured? Stansfield In?

Rumours are gathering pace that HWWW in injured and potentially out until Christmas. This may account for his lack of friendly appearances rather than post World Cup rest.

If City needed a striker before, they definitely do now. With that in mind Jay Stansfield rumours have increased substantially. LAST first put him in the Rumour Hit Parade on the 19th July, somewhat rather dismissively:

"Onto new entries and the first is Jay Stansfield from Blues. There is chat that City have joined Sunderland, Everton, Ipswich and Hull in being interested in signing Stansfield who has scored 47 goals in 138 matches at St Andrews. The apparent asking price is £30 million. LAST can't see this as a goer so he's straight in at a lowly 19."

The rumour has now been mentioned in dispatches in places like the BBC. I'm still not sure about this myself. If HWWW is injured though, splashing the cash on a striker is probably top of the priority list, we can't go to Christmas with just Simms and BTA. Lisa, sorry Jay, is valued at $30 million though apparently. I still can't see it but he's got to go up to 10.

Mykhaylo Mudryk has apparently been made available for loan by Chelsea. Maybe with the HWWW potential injury this one is now more of a goer? Up to 7.

Meanwhile Fikayo Tomori  rumours dropped like a stone over the last few weeks but Quotidiano Sportivo are reporting that he's keen to link up with SFL again after Derby and Chelsea. Is centre half a priority now though? I think we have more pressing issues but up he goes to 8.

These rumours are probably just recycling round and round but Taylor Hardwood- Bellis has also popped up again from nowhere after 2 months. I doubt theres much in this, if City are after another centre half then Tomori would be higher up the list. Up a few places to 14.

LAST has mentioned the rumour of Luke Woolfenden leaving, possibly to Sheff Utd.
