Rumour Hit Parade - Hamer Now A Gimme!

Sky Sports is reporting that Hamer's return is now done although there's no official announcement yet., That will come next week you would presume.

If you missed it, here's Chris Wilder admiting that Gus is as good as on his way and that everyone and I mean everyone, likes Gus. The fee is rumoured to be £6 million plus add ons. LAST heard a rumour that King Doug the First opened the bidding at £2 million. Douglas doing Douglas things if so! This would mean City will have outspent 12 other PL clubs so far this window.

We previously mentioned Jahnoah Markelo could head to Saudi Arabia on a permanent move. This has indeed come to fruition and he has headed off, not to Saudi Arabia but the UAE and Shabab AlAhli Dubai FC. What a strange signing this was. Arrived in 6 months ago for an apparent $4.3 million, played in 5 games, looked bright on occasions and left again, fee unknown. Most odd.

The only other rumour to report is the resurfacing of the Angel Gomes rumour. He first appeared in the Hit Parade on 20th June and for some reason L’Equipe are reporting it again. Gomes is a central midfielder, surely we don't need another one! He goes up a random 6 places but is still low down at 22.
