Onyeka Signs Up

City's other Super Frank "on a bender" Onyeka's move to City has been confirmed.

Onyeka joined City on loan from Brentford back in January. City were in a dip at that point and would lose their lead at the top of the table. However SFL brought in SFO just at the right time, he bolstered the midfield and gave City a presence which they had started to lack. I'd say his 14 games were as important as anyone else's contribution over the whole season, in terms of turning things around and getting us over the line.

SFO told the club website :

"I'm really excited for the new season with Coventry. When I first joined last season, I came here with two goals: to win the Championship and help Coventry get promoted to the Premier League. I'm really happy to now be a Coventry player back in the Premier League. I will give everything to the team, fight for every ball, fight for my team-mates and bring my experience. My ambition now is to help the team stay in the Premier League and finish as high as we can."

His 75 game experience in the Premier League will be invaluable next season in a team without much more, except the boss of course. There's going to be a great song if City sign Aurèle Amenda as well.
