Ciry drew 0-0 with Northampton at Sixfields today in a pre-season friendly.

There's not too much to read into the result or the performance. At this stage its all about getting back in the swing of things. City made 8 changes at half time to give as many people as possible a run out, only Wilson, Simms and Torp staying on for the second half.

Neither team particularly threatened. City had a shout for a penalty in the second half and surprisingly Bassette also had a run out for about half an hour.

City have Espanyol and AS Monaco to play at the CBS before the season kicks off as well as a couple of secret squirrel behind doors friendlies.
