Rumour Hit Parade - Hot New Entry!

Aurèle Amenda is the hot new entry, straight in at number 3.

There's several credible sources for this one. Amenda is currently at the World Cup with Switzerland although is yet to feature. After 18 starts and 6 sub appearances in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt last season they are believed to be willing to let him go for something around £10 to £15 million. At 22 he fits the age profile City look at and as a 6ft 4 centre back he plays in a position City are looking to strengthen. Amenda originally came through the youth set up at Young Boys, presumably thats Under 3s. Are they called Young Boys Youth? Is the Young Boys women's team called Young Boys Ladies? Is the girls team called Young Young Boys Girls? Is their older ladies team called Veteran Young Boys Ladies? Err, where was I....oh yes, next rumour.

The trail on Dimitris Giannoulis went cold but things have reawakened in the last couple of days with reports that his agent has had talks with City in London. City have supposedly reached an agreement with Augsburg and its now down to agreeing personal terms. Just to remind you he is a left sider defender/midfielder.
