Rumour Hit Parade - 2 New Entries

There's a couple of new rumours but nothing concrete as yet from City, or anyone for that matter. It may be a case of everything slowing down due to the World Cup and everyone being on holiday and then all hell breaking loose when its over. We are now up to 26 rumour links!

Ellis Simms' future continues to be the subject of speculation. The latest club to be linked with him is Wrexham. You could see why they might be interested with Simms goalscoring record in the Championship. Simms climbs 2 places.

Daniel Jebbison is a new entry. The Bournemouth striker was excluded from Canada's WC squad and is apparently interesting all 3 promoted clubs. Jebbison was on loan at Preston last year, scoring 6 goals in 40 appearances. I'm not giving this one much credence, I think City will be looking at a more proven top level striker. Enters the charts at 21.

There's no news on Rushgoalieworth signing for City or staying at Brighton. Yet again though all 3 promoted clubs have been linked to Radek Vitek, a 22 year old Czech goalkeeper from Man Utd. He spent last season on loan at Bristol City and before that on loan at BW Linz and Accrington (who are they, exactly) Stanley. I can't see City spending money on a goalkeeper. Rushgoalieworth would be an exception being a top goalie, young and City know all about him. If signing him doesn't come off I think they may look for a keeper with some top flight experience. Vitek in at 20.
