On This Day - 13th May

Well, 13th May 1997. One of our all time last day great escapes a 2-1 win at Spurs (when they were better than they are now!).

I actually watched this from the Spurs end with a mate, The Spurs fans quickly caught on and were good natured feeding me completely wrong scorelines from the other matches that mattered (no phones or mobile internet in those days). The match kicked off 15 minutes late which meant we knew we would stay up if the score stayed the same. I can honestly say my arms went numb towards the end of that game,
