More qualifiers have taken place with City involvement.

Caleb Yirenkyi and BTA

Both started in a must win game against 116th ranked Gambia in the AFCON qualifiers, they lost the first to Ivory Coast. Things were going well with Ghana racing into a 2 goal lead. They were pegged back to 2-2 at half time, at which point BTA was subbed and went on to lose 4-2 at home, putting Carlos Queiroz under pressure.

Ghana 's next match is a friendly vs Morocco on 5th Oct.

Yann Gboho

Ivory Coast won 2-0 in Somalia with Gboho coming on as an 83rd minute sub. It was an inspired decision as he went on to open the scoring against 199th ranked Somalia on 89 minutes before the qualifying points were wrapped up in injury time. It was a good chest and volley from Gboho, just inside a crowded box. Dust off your GCSE French, highlights are here.

There next game is a friendly against Cameroon on 4th Oct.

Jay Dasilva

Wales went down 2-0 in Denmark. JDS was an unused sub.

They have 2 more Nations League qualifiers to play - Norway (Oct 1) and Denmark (Oct 4th).

Taiwo Awoniyi and Frank Onyeka

Nigeria had a shocker away at 132 ranked Guinea-Bissau. Awoniyi and Onyeka both started, found themselves 1 down at half time and were both subbed. Nigeria went on to lose 3-0. Highlights below.

Their remaining upcoming game is a friendly against Russia (Oct 6th).

This worth a watch at 7.30! He's gutted Nigeria lost, then discovered Ghana lost!

Joel Latibeaudiere

Jamaica went down 1-0 at home to Honduras, Lati played the whole game at CB and got a booking in the process.

Jamaica have 2 more qualifiers - El Salvador (Oct 3th) and Honduras (6th Oct).

Liam Kitching

Kitch made his debut for Ireland as they beat Israel 3-0. He played the whole game as the left sided CB in a 3. Their games to come are Austria (Oct 1) and Israel (Oct 4th).

Kai Andrews

Andrews, who is currently on loan at Oxford, captained Wales U21 against Belgium (Sept 29th) but they lost to a 7th minute near post finish from Norman Bassette.

Their next game is Austria (Oct 6th).

Stephen Mfuni

Impressive Mfuni is on England U21 duty with City old boy Lee Carsley.

They have Slovakia (Oct 2nd) and Ireland (Oct 6th) to come in European qualifiers.

Eliot Meredith

Meredith was in goal for Wales U19s but couldn't prevent them losing 2-0 vs USA U19s.

Upcoming games in the 4 way tournament are Norway on 2nd Oct (KO 11:00am) and Northern Ireland on Oct 5th (KO 10:00am BST).
