A confidence sapping result for City who didnt take their chances to equalise when they were on top in the first half.
A Brighton goal and red card for Awoniyi at the start of the second half ended the game as a contest before Bobby Thomas conceded a penalty and Dunk scored a long range effort with 7 minutes to go. Former City loanee Ayari made it 5 in injury time from the edge of the box.
