4 Players Nominated for PFA Championship Players’ Player of the Year

City have 4 players in the running for the  PFA Championship Players’ Player of the Year.

The award, voted for by fellow professionals also sees Middlesbrough’s and potential City target Hayden Hackney and Swansea City’s Zan Vipotnik complete the line up.

Grimes obviously played every game in the season and was City's Captain Marvel in midfield. I lost count of the number of games that he ran, not by doing anything complicated but by being in the right place at the right time and playing simply.

Rudoni is obviously a special player who does special things, a bit of X factor with 7 goals and 6 assists. I could watch the goal v West Brom over and over again. Rudy has 17 goals in 83 City appearances now.

HWWW banged in 18 goals and 2 assists this season and when he was on fire he was unstoppable. He now has 49 goals in 124 games for City, that is some record and is just a goal behind Cyrille Regis and Matty Godden.

Carl Rushgoalieworth was just exceptional. If City can sign him permanently that will be a coup and a big step towards next season. SIGN THE CONTRACT CARL!

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 25th August as will Team of the Year. Lets see how many we have in that. Milan surely....
