Rumour Hit Parade - City About To Splurge?

Are things slowly starting to fall into place now the World Cup enters its final stages?

The big rumour today is City supposedly smashing their transfer record by splurging £20 million squids on Loum Tchaouna from Burnley. He joined from Lazio on a 5 year deal just over a year ago but Burnley fans don't seem to be overly impressed with his 3 goals and 1 assist in 30 games since joining. Tchaouna has represented France at nearly all the junior levels but has yet to break his way into the full France side unsurprisingly. The left footed winger can play on either wing or as a second striker. This rumour comes from Fabrizio Romana plus Burnley's relegation sees them trying to lower their wage bill one would presume, therefore Loum Tchaouna replaces Norman Bassette at the top. Bassette is also back training with City on their Malaga training camp so he's down from number 1 to 4 but his departure is still likely.

Ross Barkley has been on the Hit Parade from the start without any real foundation. However he is now at the same training facility as City in Malaga, albeit not training with City but with his own personal trainer. Of course this is absolutely no indication that he is going to sign for City but we can't help feeling that maybe Barkley and City may pass in the corridor and have a conversation. Konstantinos Koulierakis is the other new entry in the Rumour Hit parade, who will clearly be known at LAST as simply KK should he sign. The 22 year old has played 66 times for Wolfsburg since joining 2 years ago from PAOK. However he could not prevent them being relegated this year and Wolfsburg may look to cash in and perhaps double their money for the centre half who has 22 caps for Greece. KK fits the criteria of early 20s and a centre half so he's straight in at 12.
